Miho no Matsubara Beach is located in Shizuoka, Japan. 🌊 It boasts a spacious parking area, a popular spot for relaxation. There are also shops and restaurants. The entrance is lined with rows of over 30,000 pine trees, stretching over 7 kilometers, creating a lush and shady atmosphere. Some of the pine trees are old and their trunks are stunningly beautiful.
The highlight of this beach is the black sand beach, formed by lava fragments and volcanic rock from Mount Fuji, giving the sand a dark color unlike any other beach.
It's also one of the best places to see Mount Fuji from the shore. If you visit during a clear day, the view is stunning. Tourists here include both Japanese picnickers and children playing in the water, as well as international visitors. The water is crystal clear and gentle, making it perfect for swimming.
This beach is also registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with Mount Fuji.
