Kunozan Toshogu Shrine

Kunozan Toshogu Shrine was established under the order of the daimyō Ieyasu Tokugawa before his death for the burial place in Kunozan and is the oldest Toshogu Shrine in Japan. The shrine building is built in the Gongen-zukuri style and is decorated with thick lacquerware, and was designated as a national treasure in 2010. #naturetourism #japantravel
