The Twenty-Four Eyes Film Village on Shodoshima is the filming location for the movie Twenty-Four Eyes
It has a retro Showa style, with schools, bookstores, and canteens
At the end of the village is the blue Seto Inland Sea
The wooden classroom still has the desks, chairs, organ, and works of students from that time. Entering the school is like being transported back to that time.
The wooden window panes with the sea behind are very suitable for taking pictures

There is also a screening room in the village that shows the movie Twenty-Four Pupils (the Chinese version was actually showing when I went there!)
They also sell Showa-era style set meals and Shodoshima’s specialty - soy sauce ice cream. If you like to try new things, don’t miss it~


Movie Village is located at the cape of Shodoshima. It takes more than half an hour to get there by bus from Olive Park, and there are not many buses. It is recommended to check the return bus before getting off the bus so as not to wait at the bus booth.
If it is the peak season, there will be a speedboat directly crossing the strait from Shoudou Port, and it will arrive in about 10 minutes 😂
