National Forest Guards

#taipeitrip A beautiful park and it was a very well taken care of and the staff were so kind at the visitor center. It was a beautiful day when I went, but cloudy and that stunk, considering I wanted to do the Mt. Qixing peak.

I still did the loop and the peak, because it was so beautiful on the way up and totally worth the workout! Bring your waters, electrolytes, and snacks! Bring a jacket too if you go in the winter! You might hit rain or a wind chill the higher you climb!

Also, story time! The National Forest Guards are so helpful! I left my apple watch on a portable charger up on the mountain trail head and the park had just closed and the buses going up had stopped. I talked to some locals that drove me down the mountain to the ranger station and they drove me all the way back up to grab my watch, which was still there! They were so incredibly kind and funny about the whole situation!

Another international park knocked off the list, and it was lovely! I hope to come back during the summer and enjoy the clear skies!
