A big shoutout to Mr Phea, Ms.Thida and Ms. Annie, they truly deserve my recommendation for their great hospitality, genuine care, and friendliness. I was greeted by Mr Phea at the airport for pick-up by a TukTuk. It's a complimentary by the hotel. He was welcoming and Ms.Thida too when I arrive at the hotel to her warm smiles, a cold towel & a refreshing lemongrass drink. I was granted early check-in to my room as it was available. Thank u, Ms. Thida! I love my Junior Rooftop Suite room. It's spacious and cosy. The TV isn't a smart TV but it has many channels. Toilet and shower are separated. The bed and pillows were soft. My room has a balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the reception desk. The mini bar wasn't complimentary but no issue as there's a small grocery store across the road. Housekeeping was done pretty well. I did not use the insecticide spray as my room was mosquito free. I met Ms. Annie on some other times. She's friendly and patient with my fickle-mindedness and clumsiness. I met and spoke once with Mr Panha, Ms. Chan and the hotel's chef. They were all smiles and friendly. My first morning, I had my breakfast prepared and packed in a tiffin carrier as I left at 4 am to go for a sunrise tour. They packed hard-boiled eggs, croissants, bananas, and little baguettes with jam. On the next day, I had breakfast at the restaurant and I had waffles with fruits. There's a table of bakeries, juices, cereals, and salad. My two other breakfasts were spent in the room as requested. One of it was very good. I wanted scrambled eggs with cheese and mushrooms and I got what I wanted. It was so good! The eggs were creamy and fluffy! I wanted smoked salmon at the side, but they gave me a bagel with smoked salmon, mesclun salad and green peppercorn sauce. The watermelon juice was good, too, but it was great if a glass of ice was served alongside it. I would stay in Anjali if I were in Siem Reap again.
