Just arrived in Siem Reap, Cambodia, and I had no hesitation in choosing Khmer House Resort, located at Sekla Villa Rd, Palm St. Although it’s a bit far from the city center, don’t worry, the hotel offers free tuk-tuk shuttle service, and it only takes 5 minutes to get to the bustling area.

Khmer House Resort is situated in a quiet corner away from the city, which actually gave us the chance to enjoy some peace. The hotel’s decor is full of Khmer style, with wooden furniture and artistic decorations complementing each other. Upon entering, the front desk staff were especially warm and friendly, instantly helping us relax after a tiring journey. The hotel has two large swimming pools and a cozy little restaurant. It feels like being warmly cared for.

Entering the room, wow, it’s really spacious and clean. The large stone bathtub was a real surprise, and the bathroom is bright and spacious, equipped with both a shower and a bathtub. There’s a small balcony next to the room, perfect for sitting and daydreaming, ideal for relaxation. The bed is also nice and comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep.

Although the hotel is a bit far from the city center, there are quite a few attractions nearby. I recommend exploring the Phare Cambodian Circus direction, and you can also choose a Royal Angkor Tours trip to enrich your journey. Additionally, there are some great restaurants near the hotel, such as V Design Restaurant and WILD - Creative Bar & Spring Rolls Restaurant, trying some local specialties is also a good choice.

Of course, being a bit far from the city center means you’ll rely on tuk-tuks to get there quickly, but the hotel’s free shuttle service makes this minor inconvenience negligible. Besides, the quiet environment here is what I like most! Overall, this stay was very satisfying, offering great value for money, perfect for those looking for a peaceful corner to rest during their travels!🏝️😎
