From Pamukkale to Denizli and the Ephesus Museum

This place has been promoted so well around the world that even ladies asked to go there. 🇹🇷It has attracted many people in Turkey🤩, so Pamukkale is a must-visit🏞, but don't have too high expectations. It's not as good as Hierapolis and the museum that comes later.

Depart from Pamukkale in the early morning and step barefoot on the snow-white calcified terraces. The hot spring water temperature is constant at 36-38℃, and the stepped pools are very cool💂.

A 10-minute walk north will take you to the ruins of the ancient city of Hierapolis, a Roman health resort from the 2nd century BC that retains an ancient theater that could accommodate 10,000 people and the remaining mosaic tiles of the Roman baths. You can still swim in the Cleopatra Pool on the edge of the ruins. The ancient Roman stone columns scattered at the bottom of the pool are looming in the hot springs, as if they were dislocated in time and space. In the afternoon, drive to the Laodicea archaeological site and stroll through the ruins of one of the seven churches in the Bible. The giant stone water supply system confirms the prosperity of this ancient trade center.

🇹🇷Ephesus: The collision of mythology and technology
The next day, we went to the Ephesus Experience Museum in Selcuk. The 2,400-square-meter immersive space recreated the ancient city's heyday with 360-degree projection: 3D sound effects reproduced the sound of horse hooves on Arcadia Avenue, mist installations simulated the Aegean Sea breeze, and a life-size statue of Artemis "resurrected" in light and shadow. Then we visited the Ephesus Archaeological Museum. The museum's treasure - the 6th century BC statue of Artemis is plump and majestic, and the griffins and bees carved on its multi-layered skirt symbolize the fusion of nature and power. Walking through the Via Curetes at the ruins of Ephesus at dusk, the reliefs of the Temple of Hadrian were clearer after the rain, and the statue of the goddess of wisdom at the Library of Celsus was gilded in the sunset. 🇹🇷You need to enter Pamukkale barefoot, it is recommended to arrive before 8 am if you want to take photos😂📸;
🇹🇷The Ephesus Experience Museum includes a 40 Euro pass and has a guide.

The drive between the two places takes about 3 hours. Passing through Denizli Denizli Province Ancient Temple Of Apollon is very old. Many good things in Turkey are left over from 🇬🇷 and ancient Rome.
