Terrace of the Elephants in Angkor Wat

Elephants were much more familiar to ancient people. 🐘

There are ruins carved into the Angkor Wat ruins, including an elephant.

Looking down from the viewing platform where the king once sat during ceremonies and events is a moving experience. ✨

🕰️ Business Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

📍 Location: Between the Terrace of the Leper King and the Baphuon ruins, Krong Siem Reap

💞 Sightseeing Spot: While it's next to the Terrace of the Leper King, it's quite a long walk between the two sites in the hot sun. ☀️
The quickest way is to have your driver take you to the road directly in front of the building and then walk in from the grassy path. 👍
