
The Qifengshan Ecological Tourism Area is located in the Dafuniushan Tourist Area in Fangcheng County, Nanyang City, Henan Province . The Qifengshan mountain range, covering approximately 105 square kilometers, was formed 150 million years ago. Its main peak, 768 meters above sea level , is the summit of Fangcheng. The area boasts renowned attractions such as the Chu Great Wall, known as the " ancestor of the Great Wall ," the Qifeng Snow-covered Qifeng, the Quanyan Waterfall, and alpine ski resorts.
The Chu Great Wall at Qifeng Mountain, known as the " Father of the Great Wall" and the " Ancestor of the Great Wall of China , " is renowned both domestically and internationally, and is a major attraction in the tourist area. It also integrates the overall ecological beautification of the environment, perfectly integrating nature and humanity.
The scenic area consists of four main areas: skiing, alpine rock climbing, alpine sightseeing, and snow recreation. The ski resort boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including the latest European snow recreation equipment and snowmaking equipment. The resort offers a wide variety of recreational activities and can accommodate up to 2,000 people at a time.
In 2018 , new entertainment projects were added, including the Colorful Lake Water Park, Water Flying Man, Water Lion Dance, Shouting Spring, Children's Water Park, Seven Peaks Palace, Colorful Cloud Ladder, Alpine Slide, etc.
In spring, you can see blooming mountain flowers and flying bees and butterflies; in autumn, you can see abundant fruits and colorful forests; in summer, it is lush and green with clear streams; in winter, ice hangs on the branches, and the mountains are covered with silver. The ice waterfalls and hoarfrost are like ice sculptures, exquisite and translucent.
