Day 1: Chengdu-Colombo
Depart from Chengdu and fly directly to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, to start your exotic journey.
Day 2: Negombo Fish Market – St. Mary’s Church – Lion Rock
Visit Negombo’s bustling central fish market and experience local life; then visit St. Mary’s Church to appreciate the charm of religious architecture; and finally climb to the Lion Rock to overlook the magnificent scenery.
Day 3: Minneriya Park – Matale Spice Garden – Temple of the Tooth – Kandy Lake
Travel through the Minneriya National Park and get close to nature; visit the Matale Spice Garden to learn about spice production; visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth to experience cultural shock; stroll along the shores of Kandy Lake and enjoy a peaceful time.
Day 4: Kandy – Southwest Coast
Depart from Kandy and head to the southwestern coast of Sri Lanka to experience the beauty and leisure of tropical beaches.
Day 5: Whale watching in Mirissa - Galle Fort - Kogal fishermen
Go whale watching in Mirissa and experience close contact with marine life; visit the clock tower of the historic Galle Fort; and appreciate the unique fishing method of Kogler fishermen on stilts.
Day 6: Independence Square-Old Parliament Building
Visit Sri Lanka's Independence Square to feel the country's independent spirit; visit the Old Parliament Building to learn about Sri Lanka's history and politics.
Day 7: Return to Chengdu
At the end of the wonderful journey in Sri Lanka, we returned to Chengdu with a full load of fruits.
