A beach in CAMBODIA?

Why spend everyday in the noisy city when you can have beautiful & peaceful beach days just a 2.5hour drive from Phnom Penh?

Most people see Sihanoukville as just a departure point to the islands but it is so much more than that!

Currently still under development, Sihanoukville is a true hidden gem.

We stayed in cool bohemian cottages just a 7min walk from the beach and spent everyday either swimming at a nearby resort or hanging out at the beach.

Here are some of my favourite spots to check out:

Address - Brown Coffee - Seaview Oucheteal Beach
Highlights - Tasty coffee, many beverage options and a scenic seating area right on the beach. If you’re a morning coffee person then be prepared to wait in long queues.

Address - Otres Beach
Highlights - the beach is practically untouched and there is so much relaxing space in the sun and in the shade. The water is crystal clear and makes for a calming swim.

Address - Papa Pippo Resort
Highlights - If you order a drink/food you can use their pool and WiFi. This is a great spot to hangout if you’re not in the mood for the beach. They play good music, have friendly staff and provide an overall positive atmosphere. Who doesn’t like a cocktail while dipping their feet in the water?
