The rainy season is coming soon. If you want to see a natural mountain view near Bangkok, I recommend this place, "Khao Yai Thiang".

Khao Yai Thiang is a mountain in Khlong Phai Subdistrict, Sikhio District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. It is bordered by a forest that connects to Lam Takhong Dam. The mountain is 650 meters or 2,133 feet high. The mountain is not very high and the view is beautiful. The road is not very steep.

📷 There is a photo spot here, "Khao Yai Thiang Wind Turbine", which is a check-in point. The wind is cool at the top. The road is long and you can see large white windmills in a row. There are also golf carts here. It is easy to drive and enjoy the view comfortably.

There are many restaurants, but the one we went to was Baan Rai Plai Noen because it was close to our accommodation. As for the Khao Yai Thiang view cafe, there are many beautiful views.

Another interesting spot is "Pha Yai Thiang", which is a steep cliff with a view of Lam Takhong Dam. We cannot bring our own car. We have to take Pha Yai Thiang's car. At the top, there are activities to plant a floating forest and drink coffee with a beautiful view of Pha Yai Thiang. The weather is nice and not hot. But if you go during the rainy season, you have to look at the weather carefully.
