Huge Granite Bathtub at Barracks Sentosa

The Barracks Hotel Sentosa is a premium 40-room heritage hotel that occupies what was once an artillery outpost during colonial times. It is conveniently accessed from Imbiah monorail station, yet secluded enough for peace and privacy.

The rooms are luxuriously designed to fit with the heritage theme of the hotel, and even the entry level Deluxe Room that I stayed in made me feel like I was teleported back in time. Everything in the room was perfect: the high ceilings, the plush king sized bed, and most importantly, the huge granite bathtub that sits in the middle of the bathroom. The room also comes with a balcony, overlooking the pools that are shrouded in greenery.

I felt like an esteemed guest here as service was always attentive and personalized. I had put in a birthday request and received balloons and a lovely towel cake, as well as an edible cake during cocktail hour. A casual remark about not seeing William the Bear around led to them sending me one to bring home!
