I started my solo trip to Singapore by taking the train from Johor Bahru early in the morning. The train ride was smooth and quick, making it an easy way to travel between the two countries.
Once I reached Singapore, my first stop was at the counter to purchase a Singapore Tourist Pass, which made it convenient to use public transport throughout my trip. The public transport system is really efficient and saved me a lot of time moving around the city.
For lunch, I headed to Maxwell Food Centre, which is famous for its wide variety of local food. I couldn’t miss the chance to try the famous Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice. The chicken was tender, and the rice was fragrant and flavorful—definitely worth the hype!
After lunch, I took a leisurely walk around the nearby streets, exploring some of the local shops. It was nice to just stroll around and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Singapore.
For dinner, I decided to go to Mos Burger, where I tried their Teriyaki Chicken Rice Burger. The combination of the grilled teriyaki chicken and rice "buns" was something different but very tasty.
Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable day exploring Singapore on my own!
