The Most Comfortable Living Experience in Singapore

On this trip to Singapore, I stayed at The Clan Hotel Singapore by Far East Hospitality, located at 10 Cross Street, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel is surrounded by easy transportation options and plenty of delicious restaurants nearby, just a few minutes' walk from Chinatown. There are two exits near the MRT station, making it especially convenient whether you're dragging luggage or traveling alone.

Speaking of the location, it’s truly top-notch! As a bustling area of Singapore, it’s not only convenient for transportation but also offers a wide variety of dining and drinking options. When we arrived on the first day, a friendly Chinese-speaking lady at the front desk warmly welcomed us. She served in both Chinese and English, so there was no language barrier at all. She was very considerate of my early flight and completed the check-in process quickly. I must also mention the gentleman at the main entrance, who spoke excellent Chinese and was very helpful, making me feel right at home.

The room I stayed in was clean and tidy, with a very comfortable bed. The toiletries had a magnolia scent that I absolutely loved—it felt especially pleasant to use. The rooftop pool’s night view was unbeatable; swimming there at night felt like being in paradise. The room layout was well thought out, with attention to every detail, making the stay very comfortable.

The nearby attractions were also highlights. I visited the Cloud Forest, which felt like stepping into a fairyland. I also rode the Singapore Flyer, a giant Ferris wheel standing 165 meters tall, offering breathtaking views of Singapore’s cityscape. Even more interesting was the "Time Capsule" inside, where you can experience a new virtual journey through Singapore’s 700-year history—it was really cool!

There are many restaurants nearby, such as Loulou - French Cuisine & Wine Bar, Entre-Nous creperie, Bar-Roque Grill, and the highly recommended Carousel Buffet, all within walking distance. After sightseeing in the evening, it’s very convenient to pick any restaurant for dinner, which is really hassle-free.

The only downside is that Montague Road is a bit far and requires a taxi ride, but the excellent service and environment here more than make up for it. Overall, this hotel is top-class in terms of location, service, and environment. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I come to Singapore! 🏨❤️
