Art Hopping in Singapore

Visiting museum and going around exhibitions are one of the popular activities in getting to know the location and also the people you are with. It's considered to be some of the best date ideas especially if both are interested in the arts and learning something new. The little island of Singapore has a lot of museum and galleries to choose from. National Gallery is one of the prominent museums you can visit. There are free and ticketed exhibitions but since there was an ongoing festival, it's one of the best time to visit because all exhibitions are free on festival weekends. We visited 2 exhibitions, Kim Lim and Teo Eng Seng. And to be honest, I enjoyed both as exhibitions are intriguing and informative. Also, the colors of the interior of the exhibitions are contrasting too. So I think it was nice to pair them up since they're also on the same level. Always check the gallery website to know the ongoing events and exhibitions to be prepared. The gallery can easily be reached via public and private transport. Buses are widely available and the nearest mrt station is City Hall of red and green line.
