Singapore flavours and traditional bakes

Bengawan Solo is an iconic local bake shop that has evolved with the times but continues to hold on to their time-honoured traditions, methods and flavours! They are known for their ‘kuehs’, or cakes, which fills me with a sense of nostalgia as I grew up eating these delights.

Now, they sell other bakes as well, such as cookies, local snacks and western style cakes. Prices here seem to be a little more expensive than other outlets but I guess it caters a little more to tourists.

My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
