Hey everyone👋 Today I have to share with you a super popular hidden gem in Singapore — the tree hollow at Fort Canning Park!
🌳 The Past and Present of the Tree Hollow
This tree hollow is no ordinary hollow. Located inside Fort Canning Park, it used to be an air-raid shelter shaft left over from the war. Now, it has transformed into a viral hotspot on the internet, boldly nicknamed the "Dragon’s Lair" by everyone.
🎞 Unique Photo Angle
Standing at the bottom of the spiral staircase inside the tree hollow and looking up, sunlight filters through the lush branches, creating golden beams that outline the vibrant green leaves with stunning clarity. The interplay of light and shadow is incredibly dreamy, making every shot a breathtaking masterpiece. No wonder it attracts so many people to check in.
🚗 Super Convenient Transportation
Take the MRT red or purple line and get off at Dhoby Ghaut station. Follow the navigation for about 10 minutes, and you’ll easily find this mysterious corner hidden in the urban oasis.
🌟 Check-in Tips
1. It’s best to visit before 9 AM or after 4 PM when the light is softer for better photos.
2. To capture photos with fewer people, weekdays are preferable since weekends tend to be busier.
3. Besides the tree hollow, other parts of Fort Canning Park are also stunning. If you have time, take a stroll to experience the unique charm of the blend between historical sites and nature.
In short, the tree hollow at Fort Canning Park is truly a place full of surprises. Highly recommend everyone to check it out and feel the vibe!
