The Sofitel in downtown Singapore has an amazing location~and the weekend brunch is absolutely delicious!

The Sofitel Singapore City Centre is located in the heart of the Central Business District, situated at the intersection of Robinson Road and Cross Street, just a 5-minute walk to Raffles Place MRT station~This all-glass curtain wall building was designed by a French architect, featuring clean and sleek exterior lines. The podium retains 19th-century colonial-style arcades, creating a visual contrast with the surrounding modern skyscrapers. The lobby blends French elegance with Southeast Asian elements, with a black-and-white checkerboard floor paired with bronze decorations, and the lounge area displays installation works by local Singaporean artists.

The suite I stayed in features a gray-blue and champagne gold color scheme, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering city views~The bedroom is equipped with Sofitel MyBed custom bedding, a deep soaking tub, and Hermès bath amenities, while the work area includes an ergonomic chair. The infinity pool on the 6th floor is stunning~perfect for photos! Palm trees line the poolside, and there is an underwater lighting system at night; the adjacent fitness center offers Technogym equipment and yoga classes. Dining at the hotel~the main restaurant has an open kitchen design, and the weekend brunch includes freshly shucked oysters and a variety of seafood that is super delicious~the lobby lounge serves a specialty afternoon tea infused with spices.

The biggest advantage of Sofitel Singapore City Centre is its location: a 10-minute walk east takes you to Merlion Park, while to the west it connects to the historic Tanjong Pagar district. An underground passage leads directly to the Raffles Place MRT interchange station~travelers heading to Sentosa can reach it by MRT in just 20 minutes. The hotel is surrounded by many Michelin-recommended eateries, such as the satay stalls at Lau Pa Sat Food Centre and Hainanese chicken rice on Amoy Street. At night, you can walk to the riverside bar area at Clarke Quay to experience nightlife. Staying here while visiting Singapore is truly so convenient!
