Traveling in Singapore

Review of traveling in Singapore: A small city full of charm and delight 💖✨

Hello everyone! Today, Boom will take you on a cute and sparkling trip to Singapore. This trip was 4 days and 3 nights, and I want to share my experience in case anyone is planning a trip and wants to feel like they’re there themselves. I must say Singapore is a lovely city—clean, safe, and very easy to get around. It’s perfect for those who like to travel comfortably without rushing or hassle.

Day 1: Found love at Changi Airport and started the journey

The journey began at Changi Airport, which I have to say is not an ordinary airport! It’s grand! There’s the Jewel Changi zone, a perfect blend of fun, natural beauty, and modernity. The highlight is the “Rain Vortex” waterfall, about 40 meters high, a stunning artificial waterfall. At night, there’s also a beautiful light show.

We strolled through the garden around the waterfall, with many photo spots. I almost wanted to sit there all day. It felt refreshing, like being in a modern tropical forest. There are also many restaurants and dessert shops to choose from. If you like ice cream, don’t miss the Salted Egg Yolk Ice Cream shop—it’s amazing with a perfectly balanced sweet and salty flavor.

After recharging at the airport, we traveled into the city by MRT, which was very convenient and took only a short time to reach our accommodation. Our hotel was a cute one in the city center, easy to get to, close to the train station and shopping areas.

Day 2: Ultimate fun at Universal Studios Singapore 🎢🎡

Day two was the most anticipated day because we were going to Universal Studios Singapore on Sentosa Island, which is truly suitable for all ages.

As soon as we entered the park, it felt like stepping into the world of movies and cartoons, with themed zones like Ancient Egypt, Jurassic Park, and Far Far Away, which feels like a fairy tale.

Our favorite rides were “Transformers The Ride,” which felt like being pulled into a realistic robot world, and “Battlestar Galactica,” a dueling roller coaster that was thrilling and fun enough to scream at the top of our lungs.

During breaks, we enjoyed “special recipe fried chicken” and “caramel-flavored popcorn,” and didn’t forget to try the cute Minion-patterned ice cream at Scoops.

The park also had cute shows and parades, especially the evening parade where all characters wore beautiful costumes. Anyone who loves photography or family fun will definitely love this place.

Day 3: Relaxing at Gardens by the Bay and enjoying the Marina Bay Sands view 🌺🏙️

On day three, we woke up early to visit Gardens by the Bay, a large and beautiful botanical garden in Singapore. There are two main domes: the Flower Dome, which houses flowers and plants from around the world, and the Cloud Forest, featuring a tall waterfall and cool air.

Walking among the blooming flowers with vibrant colors made us feel very relaxed. We also took photos with the “Supertree Grove,” which has tall and unique steel trees.

In the evening, we watched the Garden Rhapsody show where the Supertrees danced to music with beautiful lights. It was very romantic. I recommend going in the evening to enjoy the sunset and light show together.

Before heading back to the hotel, we stopped to take photos at Marina Bay Sands and along Marina Bay waterfront, which offers a stunning view of Singapore’s cityscape. The sparkling bridges and tall buildings made us feel like we were in a futuristic city.

Day 4: Shopping spree at Bugis Street and goodbye Singapore 🎁✨

On the last day of the trip, we chose to shop at Bugis Street, a market famous for cheap and cute items. If you love fashion, accessories, and souvenirs, this is the place to be.

Browsing through the market felt like discovering hidden treasures of adorable things tucked away in corners. There were beautiful clothes, stylish bags, and local snacks to try.

There were also cute cafes to stop by for a coffee and sweet treats to recharge.

Before heading back to the airport, we stopped to take photos of the waterfall at Changi Airport again and relaxed while enjoying the snacks we bought as gifts. I must say, the feeling at that moment was very heartwarming.

Summary of impressions

Singapore is a country perfect for relaxed travel with everything you need—from nature, amusement parks, shopping areas, delicious food, to beautiful city views. It’s easy, convenient, and safe to get around.

The food is delicious, with Chinese, Indian, Malay, and Western cuisines to try. I recommend Hainanese chicken rice, hakka dumplings, and laksa—they’re so delicious they’ll bring tears to your eyes.

The MRT system is excellent, no need to worry about getting lost because the signs are very clear. The locals are also very kind and helpful.

Little tips for a delightful trip to Singapore
• Buy an EZ-Link card or Tourist Pass for MRT rides to be more convenient and save money.
• Bring water and a sun hat because the sun here is quite strong.
• Don’t forget to bring a good camera or smartphone because there are many beautiful photo spots.
• Try local food at markets and hawker centers for a more enjoyable experience than eating in malls.
• Check the showtimes for the light shows at Gardens by the Bay and Jewel Changi so you don’t miss the beautiful performances.
