🍽️ Famous JB 101 @ Bukit Batok (Main) – Good Food, Long Wait, Old-School Charm

We celebrated Father’s Day at Famous JB 101 @ Bukit Batok (Main), and while the food didn’t disappoint, the waiting time certainly tested our patience. Dishes took quite a while to arrive after ordering, which can be a challenge if you’re dining with kids or elderly family members.

The setup is your typical no-frills, tze char-style coffee shop housed in an industrial building, so don’t expect air-conditioning or fancy decor—just straightforward food in a casual setting.

That said, the food quality was solid. Classic zi char flavors, hearty portions, and dishes that hit the spot. The pricing was reasonable, which made the long wait a little more bearable. It’s clear they have a loyal following—several tables were full even on a Sunday evening.

Verdict: Come for the food, not for the speed or comfort. Best enjoyed if you’re not in a rush and just want good-value, homestyle cooking.
