🍣 Birthday Treat with a Taste of Japan at Mitsuba, Clarke Quay Central

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at Mitsuba Japanese Restaurant and decided to go for à la carte instead of the buffet, since none of us are big eaters. The restaurant had a calm, refined ambiance—perfect for a special family dinner.
As with most of our Japanese meals, we ordered a familiar spread: sushi, sashimi, and katsudon. The sashimi was a highlight—generously thick cuts that instantly reminded us of the ones we had in Japan. Super fresh and satisfying. The sushi rice was also spot on, with the right balance of vinegar to complement the seafood. The katsu was crisp and well-seasoned, served warm and comforting.
Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It felt like a well-rounded Japanese dining experience with quality dishes that made the occasion feel extra special.
