Merlion Park Singapore

The Merlion statue, which coolly spouts water from its mouth, is Singapore's official mascot with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. It symbolizes the country's name (Singa = lion) and its history that began as a fishing village.

The park is located in front of Marina Bay, making it a famous viewpoint where you can take in the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore Flyer, and Esplanade all at once. During the day, against the blue sky and sea, and at night, amidst the shining cityscape, the Merlion always stands there!!😃
