🛳️ Spectrum of the Seas Boarding Guide

Quick & Efficient Overview:
Baggage Drop → Board the Ship → Connect to Ship Wi-Fi → Use App to Book Shows / Manual Booking on Deck 4 → Head to Deck 14 for Buffet (travel companions can reserve seats) → Safety Drill (complete before 3:00 PM)

🚗 Arriving at the Port
Destination: WuSongkou International Cruise Terminal (P2 Parking Lot, No.1 Baoyang Road, Baoshan District, Shanghai)

At the gate, staff may ask to see your cruise ticket. Have it ready (you can show it through the car window).

After drop-off, you’ll find porters along the way. Walk ahead and choose a less crowded area to check in your luggage.
Note: Only hard-case suitcases are checked in; keep soft bags with you.

There’s only one main route for boarding—easy to follow with no risk of getting lost.

Keep your passport and cruise ticket handy throughout the check-in process. Your ID is not required, and passport copies can be kept safely (only needed for Japanese visa processing if applicable).

The last step before boarding involves handing over your passport to the staff. Once completed, you're ready to board!

🛥️ After Boarding
Connect to the Ship’s Wi-Fi

Enables access to the onboard app and services.

Book the "Silk Road" Show

Open the Royal Caribbean app → go to Daily Schedule → scroll to find Silk Road

Book any available day — your seat is guaranteed once booked.

Alternatively, you can go to Deck 4, Music Hall for in-person reservations (even if some times are unavailable, most guests are still able to attend).

Attend the Mandatory Safety Drill

Your meeting point is listed in the top-right corner of your cruise ticket. Ask a crew member for directions if unsure.

The app also shows exact drill locations.

Once at the station, a crew member in an orange vest will scan your code and explain safety procedures to the group.

Enjoy Your First Meal Onboard

Deck 14 buffet (Windjammer) closes at 2:45 PM, so it may be crowded between 1:00–2:00 PM.

For a quieter option, visit 270 Café for light Western fare like salads and sandwiches.

Go to Your Stateroom

Rooms usually open after 2:00 PM; your key card will be placed at your door.

Your luggage will be delivered to your door later in the afternoon. If you spot it en route, feel free to bring it in yourself.

💡 Pro Tips
Elevator Lights: Green means going up, red means going down.

To turn off your room’s air conditioning: Press the leftmost button twice. When the small fan icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen shows “OFF,” it's done.

Specialty Restaurants: Prices often drop later in the cruise. Teppanyaki, for example, may offer $20 USD/person deals near the end of the trip — worth checking out!

Enjoy your amazing sea adventure aboard the Spectrum of the Seas! 🌊
