Must-try food spots in Singapore that we visited
🍮Mei Heong Yuen Dessert (Chinatown)
A shaved ice dessert shop similar to bingsu, with many flavors and varieties to choose from. They serve large bowls that can be shared by two people. Very refreshing.
🍧Jin Yu Man Tang Dessert
A traditional Chinese dessert place offering tofu pudding, herbal jelly, and ginger water. They have both hot and cold options, all tasty. Many Chinese customers line up here.
🥟Chinatown Complex
A food center featuring only local Chinese-style dishes. It’s crowded, affordable, and delicious. Highly recommended dishes are roasted duck noodles and mini xiao long bao. Expect longer lines around lunchtime.
🍗Maxwell Food Centre
A famous food center where everyone queues for chicken rice. There are several chicken rice stalls, plus other local dishes. Many Singaporeans come here to eat.
🍫Mustafa Centre
A small Indian-style department store with a wide variety of food and household items. They have lots of snacks at very cheap prices. We recommend buying the choco mini, a nostalgic childhood treat, costing only about 15 baht each. You can find other snacks here too, perfect for souvenirs.
🍦llaollao
The best yogurt ice cream, our favorite shop. There are many branches in Singapore. You can choose your toppings, and the yogurt flavor is excellent and delicious, topped with plenty of sauce. This place is a must-visit.
Location: Just pin the shop names on the map. Some shops have multiple branches, so you can choose the nearest one.
