🍣 Itacho Sushi @ The Star Vista – Casual Japanese Lunch Done Right

Had lunch at Itacho Sushi at The Star Vista and walked away feeling full and satisfied. It’s one of those places I go to when I want decent quality sushi without the hefty omakase price tag — and they deliver pretty consistently.
The variety on the menu is solid — everything from sushi and sashimi to grilled items, noodles, and rice bowls. I ordered a small selection of nigiri (the seared salmon was especially buttery), a warm bowl of udon, and some maki rolls to share. The sushi rice was well-seasoned, and the fish tasted fresh — not mind-blowing, but definitely above average for a mall restaurant.
One thing I always enjoy here is their seasonal specials — they often have unique items like foie gras sushi or premium cuts at good prices. The portions aren’t huge, but it lets you try more things without overdoing it.
Service was efficient and polite, and food came out steadily even with the lunch crowd. Seating can feel a bit tight during peak hours, but it still feels cozy enough to enjoy a quiet meal.
If you’re looking for a comfortable, casual Japanese meal in the area, Itacho at Star Vista is a reliable pick.
