Beyond the impressive collection of books and the stunning architectural design of the library, what truly captivates visitors is the modern equipment available here. You can apply online to borrow a tablet for up to 14 days or reserve a discussion room (summer is approaching, so remember to book early!). The discussion rooms are well soundproofed—you can't hear a thing from outside the door. Additionally, the library is equipped with computers, printers, copiers, and more.

There are also comfortable sofas facing large glass windows overlooking a vast grassy field, offering a sense of openness and a therapeutic effect for the mind and body. For an even more enjoyable experience, you can use the independent audiovisual equipment, sit on the sofa, wear headphones, and watch videos. On the sixth floor, the Time Lecture Hall features a high-end international conference room available for rent, accommodating up to 123 seats at a rate of 2,000 TWD per hour.

The new main library of Tainan City Library is nearly perfect. If there's one minor drawback, it's that the location is a bit far from Tainan city center. You can take a bus to "Tainan City Library" to get there. Interestingly, I encountered a foreigner who rode a YouBike to the library. I drove there today, and I must complain a little about the slow response of the basement parking payment machine, which caused inconvenience. I waited for a long time and had to operate it several times, thinking it might be broken. (The basement was stuffy, and I ended up sweating profusely while waiting—hopefully, the library can improve this.)
