A visit to Singapore wouldn’t be complete without exploring Merlion Park, home to the city’s iconic half-lion, half-fish statue 🦁🐟. Situated by the picturesque Marina Bay waterfront 🌊, the Merlion represents Singapore’s beginnings as a fishing village (“mer”) and its original name, Singapura 🐯, meaning “Lion City.”
