The Xuzhou Aishan Scenic Area is located in northern Pizhou, at the border of Jiangsu and Shandong provinces. Covering an area of 23.3 square kilometers, it borders Huaguo Mountain to the east and Yunlong Mountain to the west. It is one of the three famous mountains in northern Jiangsu. The mountain is named after the ruins of King Ai's city from the Spring and Autumn Period. It is also said that the mountain is named after the precious Chinese medicinal herb "mugwort" that only grows once every 60 years.

Aishan Scenic Area is located in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province. The easiest way to get there is by taxi or private car from Xuzhou city center. Public buses also service the area, and it’s possible to hike up from the base if you're up for a more adventurous route.
The scenic area is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The best time to visit is during the spring and autumn months, as the weather is mild and the landscape is at its most beautiful. Early mornings or weekdays are the least crowded times to visit.
The entrance fee is around 30-50 RMB per person, depending on the season. Tickets can be purchased on-site, or online through the scenic area's official website or local ticket platforms like WeChat or Alipay.
Booking tickets in advance is not required but recommended during peak travel seasons (such as public holidays). Booking a day or two in advance is ideal for avoiding long queues or ticket shortages.
You’ll need about 3 to 4 hours to explore Aishan Scenic Area, especially if you plan to hike and visit the temple at the top. If you prefer a more relaxed visit, 2-3 hours will suffice.

Aishan Scenic Area is accessible for children and elderly visitors, though some of the hiking trails may be challenging. The main paths and temple area can be accessed by most visitors, but certain spots might not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
