Singapore Botanical Gardens is well known world wide due to it being under one of the UNESCO Heritage. There are many areas in botanical Gardens where one that you have to visit is the National Orchid Gardens located somewhere near the symphony stage which is located right in the middle of the Gardens. It starts from $5 for local and $15 for tourists.
This place features the tropical montane orchidetum where it simulates the experience of ascending through a tropical montane forest and also showcases the many different type of orchids, the sembcorp coolhouse where it features five biogeographical regions – Malesia, Continental Southeast Asia and South Asia, Australasia, Afrotropics and the Neotropics and many other section. This place is a must visit for both locals and tourists and is definitely worth the fee. And please, do not pluck the flowers.
