The only UNESCO world heritage site in 🇸🇬

#singapore

Singapore Botanic Gardens was inscribed as Singapore's first UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015 and is currently the only UNESCO world heritage site in Singapore. It's one of my favourite places in Singapore to spend my off day.

The Botanic Gardens is a huge park divided into a few sections, including National Orchid Garden, Ginger Garden, Rain Forest Trail, Gallop Extension, Ethnobotany Garden and Learning Forest. The kids will definitely like the playgrounds at Jacob Ballas Children's Garden and COMO Adventure Grove. My favourite places in Botanic Gardens are the rain forest trail and Keppel Discovery Wetlands. It may take you a few visits to explore all the different parts of Botanic Gardens.

I prefer to visit the Botanic Gardens by public transport as it is more convenient to start and end at different exits. The two main entrances are conveniently located outside Botanic Gardens MRT and Napier MRT. Another entrance is at Woollerton Gate near Farrer Road MRT which leads you to Gallop Extension of the park.
