The Sognefjord, the second-longest fjord in the world and the longest in Norway, has many branches. This time, I took a boat tour of the southern branch: the Nærøyfjord. The Nærøyfjord is listed as a World Heritage Site in the Western Norwegian Fjords and is Norway's most famous tourist destination.
From the bow of the boat, I saw many small mountain towns dotted along the banks of the deep fjord, nestled against the backdrop of majestic peaks. It was a truly beautiful sight. I was lucky enough to have clear skies that day, and the blue sky, white clouds, and mountain peaks reflected in the water were even more captivating.
