Songkhla, the city of two seas

Hat Yai may seem like a more well-known city in Songkhla Province, but Songkhla's old town is actually worth a visit and has a wonderful atmosphere. It's a pleasant place to stroll through, with cafes, old-school and new-school restaurants, buildings that blend Western culture, street art, chic bookstores, and great museums where young people return to develop their hometowns. We love this city so much that we couldn't finish it all in one visit. Even though we've already planned to go for two days, we'll definitely go again.
