The beautiful mountain ranges of Sichuan always awe me.

The Huanglong Mountains (also known as the Yellow Dragon Mountains) range from 1000m to 5000m in altitude and are known for their diverse mountain scenery and relatively undisturbed forest and karst ecosystems surrounding it.

It is home to many endangered species including the giant panda and the Sichuan golden snub-nosed monkey.

However, because of the high altitude, there is a major lack of oxygen up on the mountains. Visitors are advised to bring oxygen bottles to prevent altitude sickness.

Regardless, if you are looking for a fun hike with a jaw dropping view, definitely visit Huanglong! You will not be disappointed.
