Huanglong-which means yellow dragon, Chengdu

Another place that we decided to visit in Chengdu that we must not miss is Huanglong. Now, traveling from Chengdu to Huanglong, you can take the high-speed rail and it won't take long to get there.

Huanglong is a high mountain located at an altitude of about 2005 to 5000 meters above sea level. The weather is quite good all year round, but I recommend coming in winter because you will get a background of snow-capped mountains and a beautiful blue water. Here, you can walk up to Huanglong or take the cable car and then a golf cart and walk down, but it might be quite a long walk.

Getting there: After taking the train to Huanglongjiuzhai Station, take a bus at the station and it will take about 1 hour to get here.
