The Secret Treasure Hunt in an Ancient Hidden House

Driving to Songyang, the journey follows mountain roads and streams, with scenery that delights the eye. It’s only upon turning into a village nestled in a mountain hollow that you understand why it was named the Last Jiangnan Secret by National Geographic. Half bustling with life, half poetic, with yellow walls and black tiles, and ancient towering trees. Stayed in a guesthouse run by an artist; the over 300-year-old house occupies the village’s high ground, and opening the window reveals a picturesque view. At night, the rain started, and the sound of raindrops hitting the tiles was so soothing, like a lullaby accompanying sleep. Although the secret place is no longer mysterious, this moment remains treasured.
