According to legend, the pagoda was built in the Tang Dynasty and rebuilt in the Song Dynasty. It is an octagonal brick tower with nine floors and a height of 44 meters. There are stairs inside the tower, and you can climb up to overlook the new look of the ancient city.

At the foot of the mountain, there are many inscriptions on the rocks from past dynasties, the most famous of which are "Jialing Mountain" and "Tens of Thousands of Armored Soldiers in My Chest" written in official script by Fan Zhongyan.
