St Regis Caroline Astor Suite

#staycation at newly open St Regis Jakarta. A lot of hiccups during check in but we were quite happy for the room. All staffs are not well trained/brief. One of front office staffs even "downgrade" us as titanium instead of ambassador. Thankfully all written in email that we were granted caroline suite.

Late check in due to traffic but experience such. Welcome amenities provided since it was my partner belated birthday, request for additional amenities take so long. I won't recommend staying in newly build hotel.

But overall, ambience is quite good and elegant but still smell new (that kind of new wood and furnituture smell). Got quite a loud sound from aircon too. :(
