Introducing spots in Stockholm!

🇸🇪Stockholm

Stockholm is a city surrounded by water, greenery, and design.
Nicknamed the "Venice of the North," Stockholm is a city of 14 islands connected by bridges.
Nature and the city are in perfect harmony, and just walking around felt like my mind was cleared.

◯Spots & Impressions

1. Medieval Walk in Gamla Stan 🏰🍂
Stockholm's Old Town, Gamla Stan, is a medieval streetscape lined with cobblestones and colorful buildings.
Every alleyway is picturesque, and it's fun to take a break at a small cafe you might stumble upon.
The Royal Palace and squares are worth seeing, but the tranquility of the backstreets was even more impressive.

2. Changing of the Guard at Stockholm Palace 🎖️🇸🇪
The changing of the guard in front of the Royal Palace is a popular ceremony among tourists.
The solemn atmosphere of the procession gave me a sense of the kingdom's history and tradition.
Enjoying the medieval townscape alongside the parade is also a charming experience.

3. An elegant moment at Drottningholm Palace 👑🌿
This palace is the residence of the Swedish royal family and a World Heritage Site.
Strolling through the expansive gardens, you can soak up the beauty of its Baroque architecture and nature.
Nicknamed the "Versailles of the Nordic countries," the space is filled with tranquility and elegance.

4. Experience "lifestyle design" at the original IKEA 🪑✨
One of the world's largest IKEA stores, located on the outskirts of Stockholm.
Unlike Japanese stores, the displays and use of space are rooted in local life, which is impressive.
The meatballs and mashed potatoes I had in the cafeteria were also a dish that really embodied "Swedishness."

5. A quiet prayer at Skogskogården 🌲🕊️
A forest cemetery registered as a World Heritage Site.
Surrounded by greenery, I felt a sense of prayer and tranquility, and was reminded of nature and life and death.
It was a special, calming experience, in stark contrast to the glamorous tourist destinations.
