Subotica, the most beautiful town in Serbia

#July2025
If you're in Serbia, you absolutely must visit Subotica, a small city with a population of only 150,000! Located near the Hungarian border, its architecture is so different from other Serbian cities, vibrant and beautiful.
It's very sparsely populated, affordable, and walking through the city is so relaxing! Although the area is small enough to explore in a day, I highly recommend staying overnight to experience the slow pace of small-town life.
The first photo of the Rajhlova Najamna Palata, Subotica Modern Art Museum. The exterior is beautiful. Go there in the morning for the best light. If there's no exhibition going on, you can take photos as you please. If there is, there will only be exhibits. Admission is 100 RSD. Boss Cafe is located behind the museum, so you can grab a cup of coffee.
The Subotica Synagogue (Субоticка Сinagog) is best photographed in the afternoon sun, with photos from the outside and inside being particularly beautiful.
The Subotica City Hall, photographed in the morning for the best light. Strolling the surrounding streets and taking photos is a great way to capture some great photos. There's a fountain, a theater, and the most beautiful McDonald's right next to the City Hall building.

Also, try the local Hungarian stew, Gulasch. After all, the Hungarian border is just 10 kilometers away. It's delicious!
