in Suratthani Province, which is Wat Traithammaram
Wat Traithammaram (Wat Sammai) Royal Monastery
is an old temple in Suratthani Province, located in Talat Subdistrict, Mueang District, Suratthani Province, under the Mahanikaya Sect.

The Ubosot was built in 1959 and is a reinforced concrete building. The Ubosot of Wat Traithammaram has the names of 28 Buddhas above the doors and windows of the Ubosot. Inside is the principal Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya attitude, 33 inches wide at the lap. This Ubosot has sema stones embedded in all 4 corners of the Ubosot, the only one in Suratthani Province.

Wat Traithammaram has a large Buddha statue in the meditation or enlightenment posture, measuring 3 wa 2 sok wide and 4 wa 1 sok 8 inches high. It is enshrined under the Bodhi tree in front of the ordination hall. The Bodhi tree was brought from the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya, India, the place where the Buddha attained enlightenment.
