We visited the renowned Lion Grove Garden in mid of March. It is a classical Chinese garden famous for its intricate rockeries and maze-like layout. The garden’s namesake "lion stones"—weathered limestone formations resembling playful lions—created a whimsical atmosphere as we wandered through winding pathways and over miniature bridges, feeling as though we had stepped into a living landscape painting. To our delight, we were lucky enough to see magnolia flowers in full bloom, their pure white petals glowing softly in the sunlight, adding a touch of springtime elegance to the ancient garden. What truly left a lasting impression, however, were the garden’s stunning stained-glass windows when sunlight streamed through their vibrant colors, it cast dazzling patterns on the walls and floors, creating an almost magical ambiance. The combination of natural beauty and architectural artistry made this visit to Lion Grove an unforgettable experience!
