The temperature is dropping! I'm starting to look forward to the osmanthus flower windows at Canglang Pavilion…

There’s something ancient and grounded about Canglang Pavilion. It doesn’t try to be picture-perfect and that’s what makes it unforgettable. The walkways hug the water’s edge, with views of lotus leaves swaying just below. We wandered under covered corridors that twisted gently, like poetry written in stone and wood. The whole place felt lived-in, not staged as if the garden had grown wise with age 🌿📜🪵
We paused under the main pavilion, letting the sound of the breeze through the trees settle us. It’s a garden that invites quiet reflection, not performance. Fish stirred the water below while sunlight played across weathered beams. We didn’t say much we didn’t need to. Canglang isn’t just beautiful, it’s thoughtful. It stays with you, long after the path ends 🍃🎐🧡
