Liuchun Lake, also known as Green Onion Lake, is located in Miaoxia Township, Longyou County, Zhejiang Province. Green Onion Lake is the highest peak in Longyou, with an altitude of 1,390.5 meters and an area of 7 square kilometers. The mountain is majestic and spectacular, surrounded by peaks and ridges, and covered with green grass all year round.
The mountain is composed of debris and volcanic rocks, and runs from north to south. In the scenic area, there is fog on the mountain when it rains and clouds on the sky when it is sunny. There are no trees on the top of the mountain, but many meadows, which are as wet as a swamp. The terrain is flat and continuous, covering an area of about three square kilometers, which looks like the Mongolian steppe in front of people.
There are large areas of Indian red in early May, and the flowering period is about 10 days.
