Taihu Lake Review – Wuxi (Wuxi) in November
November is the time when Taihu Lake exudes its quiet charm. It's not peak tourist season, so you can truly experience Wuxi's peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere. The temperature is pleasant, around 10–18 degrees Celsius. It's not cold enough to require a thick coat, but it's enough to give you a cool autumn feel.
Taihu Lake itself is vast, and the view stretches as far as the eye can see. The mist drifts over the surface in the morning, and the soft sunlight sparkles on the water. This view is soothing, like something out of a Chinese painting you've seen in a book.
There are long walking paths and bike paths around the lake. Walking along, you'll encounter resting pavilions, trees with their leaves beginning to change color, and locals exercising or dancing tai chi. In the evening, as the sun sets, the light reflects off the water in a coppery hue. It's a truly breathtaking sight.
If you head to Lihu Park, located on the lakeside, you'll find a spacious park with a small cafe and rowing boats. Locals often bring their children to play here, making it a great place to relax, enjoy a light snack, and enjoy the view.
Getting there is easy. From Wuxi city, you can take a taxi or bus, without having to change lines.
In short, if you enjoy a natural escape without the crowds of tourists, where you can gaze at the water, listen to the breeze, and relax in the cool air, Taihu Lake in November is the answer.
