— "Jiangnan has nothing to offer, just a spring leisure gift."
📍 Must-visit Attractions
1. Tuisi Garden
- 🌟 Recommended because: The only private garden in Suzhou listed as a "World Cultural Heritage," the pinnacle of late Qing architectural aesthetics!
- 📸 Photo spots: Reflections at Shuixiang Pavilion, the bustling red boat (standing on the stone boat to shoot the water surface view is amazing).
- 💡 Tips: Opens at 8 AM, take advantage of fewer people to capture empty shots!
2. Sanqiao Scenic Area (Taiping Bridge, Jili Bridge, Changqing Bridge)
- 🌟 Recommended because: The soul landmark of Tongli, the century-old custom of "walking the three bridges" for blessings~
- 📸 Photo spots: Lanterns light up at dusk, stand on Jili Bridge to shoot the white walls and black tiles on both sides.
3. Pearl Pagoda Garden
- 🌟 Recommended because: A quiet and secluded Ming Dynasty garden with few visitors, the origin place of the "Pearl Pagoda" story, with exquisitely crafted pavilions and towers!
Boutiques
4. Cat Er Ye’s Home
- 🌟 Many cultural and creative products, a great place to get stamps and collect Suzhou seals.
🍜 Must-try Food List
5. Laijun Dim Sum Shop
- 🥟 Recommended: Shepherd’s purse wontons + meat rice balls (locals have eaten these since childhood!)
6. Jiutanzi Fantong
- Must order: Top Scholar’s Pork Knuckle (sweet, glutinous, and not greasy!), fried shrimp with gorgon fruit.
Lotus Leaf Chicken (crispy and delicious 😊)
🚗 Transportation Tips
- Take the high-speed train to Suzhou Station → Metro Line 4 to "Tongli Station" → transfer to bus 725 directly to the ancient town.
- Tickets: Buy online in advance for 80 RMB
✨ The beauty of Tongli is hidden in the morning mist on the rowing boats, the mottled brick walls, and a cup of slow tea.
