How can you miss Tiger Hill, a treasure photo spot, when you come to Suzhou! 🍃 Every snap captures the beauty of classical and modern intertwined. The ancient-style windows reveal layers of greenery, making you feel like you've traveled back to ancient times in an instant~
📍Must-visit photo spots at Tiger Hill
1⃣️ Yunyan Temple Pagoda: China's first leaning tower, the close-up architecture is perfect for shooting classical-style photos, especially stunning in autumn with ginkgo trees! The golden leaves paired with the blue bricks make every shot wallpaper-worthy.
2⃣️ Sword Pool: The legendary burial site of King Helü's sword, the pool reflects the ancient buildings, and with good lighting, you can capture beautifully symmetrical compositions.
3⃣️ Thousand-People Stone: A huge flat stone slab; sitting here and shooting upward can capture the full view of Yunyan Temple Pagoda. Wearing Hanfu for photos here feels especially authentic.
4⃣️ Zhishuang Pavilion: The view of green leaves through ancient-style windows is right here! The framed composition is especially photogenic. It’s recommended to shoot around 9 a.m. when the light is softest.
⏰ Best shooting times:
Recommended from 8-10 a.m. or 3-5 p.m., when the slanting light creates beautiful shadows on the buildings. In summer, if you want to shoot night scenes, catch the blue hour at dusk.
📸 Photo tips:
- Wear light-colored clothes to make the subject stand out
- Bring a small fan or an oil-paper umbrella for a more fitting vibe
- Mid-range focal length lenses (35-85mm) are best for architecture shots
