This autumn, you must visit Yiyuan Garden in Suzhou for photos! 🍁 As the most easily overlooked treasure garden in Suzhou, Yiyuan combines all the classic elements of Jiangnan gardens, offering a high photo success rate while avoiding crowds~
📍Yiyuan Garden (No. 1265 Renmin Road, Gusu District, Suzhou)
🎫 Ticket: 15 RMB, recommended visit time: 2 hours
📸 Four secret photo spots:
1️⃣ Rockery cave (shoot silhouettes from inside the cave for a super artistic vibe)
2️⃣ Lotus Fragrance Pavilion water corridor (use the water reflection for a double symmetrical composition)
3️⃣ Suihan Caotang (shoot red maples through the round lattice window—stunning)
4️⃣ Lotus Pond Nine-Curve Bridge (top-down shot of people walking on the bridge for depth)
✨Tips:
➊ Best to come between 3-5 PM when the light is soft and you can catch the sunset 🌇
➋ Wearing Hanfu or qipao blends perfectly with the scenery (rental available inside the garden)
➌ Maple leaves are reddest from late October to early November; now is the peak autumn color season
➍ Exit 3 of Leqiao Metro Station is a 5-minute walk away
After visiting, you can walk 10 minutes to Guanqian Street to try the mute Shengjian buns. This old brand’s buns have a crispy bottom—remember to take small bites and sip the soup first~
