Nestled along Montenegro’s stunning coastline, Sveti Stefan offers one of the Adriatic’s most iconic beach experiences. Just a short stroll from the charming islet, I spent the day basking on soft, pinkish sands with dramatic sea views all around. The beach boasts crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming or paddleboarding, and the gentle waves create a relaxing soundtrack throughout the day. For lunch, I enjoyed fresh seafood at a local restaurant overlooking the bay—definitely try the grilled calamari or a chilled glass of Montenegrin white wine!
Getting here is easy: regular buses run from Budva, or you can rent a bicycle and follow the scenic coastal road straight to the beach. Top tip—visit early in the morning for peaceful sunrise moments, or stay till sunset when the sky turns brilliant shades of gold and orange. Sveti Stefan’s beach is a gem for both photographing and unwinding: don’t forget your camera, sunhat, and maybe a good novel!
