A day trip to Mount Tai Temple

📅 Itinerary

Go to the Dai Temple in the morning and allow one to two hours for a visit. There's a shadow puppet show, so be sure to check the show times if you're interested.

Afterwards, head to the entrance of Tianwai Village on Mount Taishan and take the scenic area bus up the mountain, disembarking at Zhongtianmen. Those who are more energetic can walk to Nantianmen, which takes about half to two hours. Alternatively, take the cable car, which charges a one-way fee.

From Nantianmen to Yuhuangding, you can only walk. Since you're here, let's reach the summit.
